BackLeigh’s role as Managing Director of Abu Dhabi Sotheby’s International Realty is the next chapter in a storied career. He has been one of Dubai’s most accomplished luxury real estate specialists, building over 17 years of expertise and setting transactional benchmarks across key communities including Emirates Hills and Palm Jumeirah. Serving as Executive Director of the Dubai office, he has played a key role in shaping the business, and he brings that same drive to Abu Dhabi.
With an encyclopaedic knowledge of prime homes and neighbourhoods, he is ideally placed to advise HNWI and UHNWI clients on the best investment and long-term purchase options. Leigh’s experience of the market also allows him to guide the sales team in Abu Dhabi in navigating this evolving market.
He has been one of the leading experts in Dubai’s Emirates Hills community for over 11 years, realising over 100 villa transactions – the highest number by any agent so far – including multiple sales exceeding AED 100 million each.
In 2025, Leigh closed one of Dubai’s most impressive real estate transactions – the sale of a bespoke Palm Jumeirah villa at AED 161 million, the most expensive secondary market sale on the island. This was preceded by a remarkable run in 2024 that resulted in AED 1.02 billion of successful sales, including AED 458 million in Emirates Hills, where he closed on one of the area’s largest villas.
Leigh also gave the Abu Dhabi business a strong entry to the market with the sale of a penthouse at Four Seasons Private Residences on Saadiyat Island for AED 200 million, a record for the emirate in 2025. This has set the standard for what Leigh aims to achieve as Abu Dhabi’s super-prime market matures.
